My First Vlog!!
Happy weekend, all! I tried my hand at a vlog for you all today! A little nerve wracking….and I’m pretty sure I got my sport venues mixed up, but it was super fun to do! It basically covers our new toy, eats and exercise. I kept it short, too. Do tell if you enjoy it and/or want to see me do more!!

AHHHHHHH!!!! Krista!! I have the Canon t2i and I LOVE it (obviously). I got the t2i over the 50d mostly because of the HD video. Although, I've never actually used it for a vlog.
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about the 75-300 but it'll probably be good for sports games since you can zoom in on the kids. It'll probably be super close for food though, so you might have to change back to the stock lens for that.

Ahhh cool!! It's always fun to hear the voice behind the writing. :) Congratulations on your new purchase!!! You're going to absolutely love, love, love it! It really is amazing just how different the photos are, isn't it? You look at photos from a regular digital thinking they're great..but then take some from DSLRs and are AMAZED!! Have fun with it! My biggest tip- take photos. Hundreds in all different lighting and camera settings.

LOVE the VLOG. You are a gorgeous lady. Your Canadian accent is adorable :) SO jealous of the Rebel!! The pictures are looking great- so clear. I want one of those cameras so bad- especially with the peanut on the way. I agree- I'm getting much more into cooler foods- like salads & cereals, as the weather is getting warmer. ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting the rebel camera, it's great. I have a similar one and whenever i can carry it, I carry it to take pics. I am quite lazy with the settings. So I mainly use CA or authomatic to take pics of food, with or without the flash depending on how much natural light I get. Let us know how the extra lense you got works, I was wondering how much it adds for a while.
5k walks are great. I enjoy a lot walking with my hubby too, such a nice workout and nice moment to chat.

ReplyDeleteI think you will love your new camera. I was decided between the canon and the nikon but went with nikon because of overall cost. I wish I had some photography tips but I am still using the auto setting on mine!

ReplyDeleteI didn't know you were tall! I always assume everyone is like 5'4". (I'm 5'10".) I bet your daughter is going to be very tall when she grows up!
Love the new pics. I have a great camera and I need to use it more instead of my crappy phone camera. If you get tips you should post them all cuz I still don't know how to use mine.
