Hello all!
I'm just going to do a quickie post today highlighting my eats. I got to the computer later than I wanted to tonight and still have a few things to take care of before I can settle in for the evening! I'll be back to my regular "schedule" tomorrow.....
Breakfast was a good hearty one today....
-1/2 cup water
-1/2 cup unsweetened almond breeze
-1/2 cup flax seed porridge
-2 Tbsp egg beaters
-1/2 mashed banana
-cinnamon
-Pumpkin flax granola
This kept me full for HOURS!
Last night's snacks included a juicy orange and a 1/2 cup of dry Optimum blueberry cinnamon cereal...
Made a trip over to Costco again to pick up a photograph that I had plaqued and DS and I had our passport photos taken. I'll highlight the few items I bought tomorrow.
Lunch was the last of the turkey couscous stew with a blob of plain yogurt on top.
Still loving this dish!
Ran a few more errands after lunch and then picked DD up from her party at 2:30 and headed to our friends place about a 1/2 hour away for his son's birthday party. Had a great time catching up. We ate dinner there and my choices were limited....pizza, pizza and pizza. I had 2 pieces of "spicy chicken".
It was actually pretty good! I also ate a small piece of cake (no photo). Major sweet! My tummy isn't too sure what to think about this meal, though! It's been a very LONG time since I've eaten this kind of tasty caca and I can feel a bit of heartburn coming on!
I'm off to make my submission for the Healthy Valentine's Meal contest over at Oh She Glows. I'll post the details tomorrow! I think I may also eat a bucket of fruit. My body is all but screaming for some good stuff! I apologize for the hastiness of this post! I promise to get back at it tomorrow! Enjoy the remainder of your Saturday!
Bye for now!!
Looove your eats!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your submission for Angela's contest!!
Happy Saturday night!!
I think I already have eaten a bucket of fruit today! HA! The pizza looks awesome though, I've never tried any of those store bought ones (they always seem expensive to me for some reason, when they really aren't that expensive).
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your Valentine's meal :)
Saturdays are for quick post..lol!
ReplyDeleteI too cannot wait to see your contest entry. I wish I was a little more creative but maybe next year :)
Those rising crust pizzas are the worst! Only because they're so good - really doughy and addictive!
