HELLO, everybody!! How is everybody doing? I had another busy one today, but it’s all good! I went in to work early again today so did a repeat on the packed breakfast business. This time it was a bit of a different mix, though.
-2/3 cup water
-1/3 cup PC 5 grain cereal
-French vanilla coffee powder
-splash of milk
All in a rather messy, less than beautiful bowl! What a gross photo!!!
After posting last night I made myself….I don’t know what to call it! I used the Magic Bullet to blend a ½ cup of kefir with some frozen blueberries and blackberries. Check it out:
It was super good! Pepper sat on my lap the whole time waiting for his turn to stick his face in the cup to lick the last drop. Wish I had my camera handy for that! It was all over his nose and he was oblivious to it!

I had a few more than normal because I worked an extra 1.5hrs again today. It’s rather astounding how sitting at a desk can rev up your appetite. Guess my brain needs the fuel!
I hopped on the elliptical at the gym again today. My back has been a bit sore lately so I think this is the best way to workout without aggravating the situation. Why does it hurt? I’m chalking it up to old age because I surely haven’t done and chandelier swinging lately!!!

I tried a new to me tuna product at lunch today….
Its hickory flavoured! I mixed the pouch up with about a cup of quinoa.
This was pretty good, but maybe next time I won’t use the whole pack as it got a tad overpowering after a while. I ended up tossing the last little bit. :S It kept me really full, though…
As busy as I was I did find a few seconds to take a necklace of the day photo!
I bought this over the holidays to go with a few new shirts that I got as gifts. I just love it!
We used the George Foreman grill again today to cook chicken thighs. This part of the bird has never been my fave, but they were a steal just before Christmas so I bought them regardless. My distaste for them grew stronger as I watched how much fat and crap came dripping out of the grill. Look at this:
I took ALL the nasty skin off before eating it. To be honest, I was still to grosses out to enjoy it much. :0
Pilates started back up tonight. DD and I are doing a half hour rebounder (trampoline) class together and then I follow it with my hour long core dynamic class. I feel all loose and limber right now! I think I am gonna make another kefir concoction now and then settle in to watch The Biggest Loser. Amazing that a new season has started already! Tell me about your evening!!!
