Amazing Online Store

I was recently contacted by Jessica from CSN Stores with the opportunity to do a review for the blog. I popped over to the site and was AMAZED at all the products offered. You can buy anything from corner TV stands to cookware to kid’s furniture!!! And I was very happy to see that there are items that ship to Canada. All this means that you can expect another product review at Krista’s Kraving’s in the near future! Stay tuned for that!

On to breakfast… IMG_1130
-1/3 cup water & coconut milk
-1/3 cup Quaker oats
-thawed blueberries
-hemp seeds
-coconut & kefir IMG_1129
This was SO satisfying. I think coconut and blueberries has turned into another winning flavour combo for me!

I tried a new (to me) Luna bar before the gym today called Berry Almond: IMG_1131

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this because I’m not always a fan of fruity bars, but it was fantastic! Next time I go to Buffalo I’ll be sure to grab a few more.

It was nice to get back into the gym today after 2 days of being too busy. I opted for a sweaty walk at a speed of 4mph with an incline of 7.5%.

  • Time: 45 minutes
  • Avg Hr: 154
  • Max Hr: 174
  • Calories Torched: 427
  • Distance: 3 miles

The pickings were slim when it came to packing myself a lunch so I ended up bringing a cup or so of leftover high fibre pasta with homemade marinara sauce that the fam had for dinner a few nights ago: IMG_1132

Then I had some strawberries and pineapple: IMG_1133

The pineapple isn’t exactly ripe so I didn’t enjoy it as much as I usually do. I like my pineapple super sweet!

DS was on the ice for a 6pm practice so I picked up some Chinese for a quick dinner. My plate had steamed shrimp and veg, shrimp lo main noodles and chicken & snow peas: IMG_1134

I also bought sweet and sour chicken balls for the fam, but have never been a fan of them myself. Too much batter for this gal! I was too full for a sweet end and just now made myself a coffee with a touch of Belgian chocolate “creamer” for a little somethin somethin. I have no plans for the rest of the evening except catching up on all the blogs I fell behind on this week! Sounds like the perfect thing for a lazy Friday night to me!

Bye for now!!

  4. Yummy dinner, Krista! I love the way you end your night with coffee a lot of times. It's such a great little sweet tasting treat before bed. I bet I'd like it even more than tea. I'm going to try that when I'm craving sweet but not really hungry!!

  5. CSN is really a great place for virtually everything! So cool you are going to collaborate with them a bit.

The berry almond Luna bar is actually good for a berry flavor--usually I am more of a choco or pb fan for bars!
