Hello From Hockey Land!

I’m so excited that the hotel has wireless! BONUS! Here I am relaxing between games today with my laptop;

HA! I made a dense breakfast this morning because I knew lunch would be later than usual.

• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup Quaker oats
• cinnamon
• almond butter
• pineapple jam

I made this in the microwave to save some time. We were on the road by 9:30 and in our destination town right when we needed to be….11:30. Here’s an action shot of DS coming in from their warm up run:

LOL! The boys won their first game 5-4! WAHOO! It really set a nice tone to the rest of the weekend. I took a photo of them on the ice after the game as they were announcing the players of the game, but my hands were shaking so bad it didn’t turn out so well!

The boys were pleased as punch! We went to the hotel to check in then headed out for lunch at Swiss Chalet. I started with a soup.

Then had a chicken breast with a baked potato and a bun.

Half of what you see came back to the hotel with me. The meal I ordered also came with dessert….apple crisp. I had a few bites then packed the rest up.

We had to be back at the rink by 5 for the second game of the day. The boys won AGAIN!!! 7-5 this time. WOW! I enjoyed this “tea au lait” while cheering the boys on:

They were ON FIRE! :D As soon as we got back to the hotel all the boys and siblings went for a swim. Let me tell you….that was one noisy, hot pool area. Holy cow! While there I ate a Clif Mojo bar and had me some Jack. It was MUCH needed! I just got back to the room and scarfed back a honey ham & swiss cheese sammie that I made from the Swiss Chalet bun.

Well, I’m off to a friends room for some chat time. Most of the parents are in the hospitality room watching the Leafs get their asses kicked. :o LOL! No thanks! We gotta get up at 6:15am to get ready, eat breakie and be back at the rink by 7:45. Holy cow!!
