I enjoyed a glorious sleep last night. And so I fixed myself a glorious breakfast:
Good morning pretty oats! Before heading out to the farm we all got up to no good such as some early morning wrestling,
I’ll be sure to post the goods when they arrive at my doorstep. *hint-one of the items is on the laptop screen* Hehe!
The we horsed around out at the farm for a bit:
Upon arriving home I remembered to take some turkey sausage out of the freezer for dinner…
My absolute favourite! Then I showed last night’s salad who the boss was by stuffing it into a WW pita along with chicken bacon and goat feta.
Then Mrs. Avocado showed me who was boss by once again proving that you can bake her kind into dark chocolate chip avocado muffins taste free!
The sun was shining and my body was yearning for some vitamin D so DD and I took to the street for some window shopping. Then we somehow ended up at Winner’s where I was conned by my inner blogging Diva to buy some pineapple ginger tea:
And as if that wasn’t enough, my daughter conned me into buying and sharing this oh so delicious chocolate bar with her!
Yes, I have “sucker” written on my forehead! LOL!
The sun also brought out my desire to eat LOTS of salad. So that is what covered most of my plate at dinner with my sausage hiding at the side of the plate.
The berries you see on the greens is from this dressing…
Next up was more fun with avocados! I turned to Averie’s vegan chocolate mousse recipe for some help. It started out looking like this:
And very quickly turned into this:
I divided it into 3 containers and then licked the spoon and bowl clean. Rich, creamy, chocolaty…..heaven. I plan on scooping it up with strawberries tomorrow!
I just finished watching The Amazing Race (LOVE those cowboys) and am now watching a bit of the Oscars. I hope the weekend has been kind to all of you!
Bye for now!!
