Jessica's Footprint: A Walk in the Park 2010

Afternoon bloggies!!! I'm gonna been tied up tonight with DD's dance recital so I'll be back to regular posting tomorrow, but I REALLY wanted to do a quick post to let you know about Jessica's Footprint: A Walk in the Park. For the past 2 years the Krista's Kravings family has participated in Jessica’s Footprint: A Walk in the Park to help raise hope, awareness and research funding for paediatric brain tumour research being done at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. This year my office put a team together so there will be 18 of us (children included) walking for a cure. Although I do not know the Durigon's on a personal basis, Jessica was only 6 weeks younger than DS which brings her death at the tender age of 1 year close to home. As a family, we walk in memory of our son, Braeden. Please consider donating to our team this year to help us reach our goal of $1500.00. No amount is too small. You can click here to get to the team's homepage. I've also set up the link on the top right side of the blog for convenience. If you decide to donate and are not comfortable using your name, just put "friend of Krista" in that field. Thanks so much for considering this!! Here are photos from our 2 previous walks!

Last year there was a HUGE thunderstorm which delayed the walk, but that made it more fun!!!

The first year the weather was gorgeous. Let's hope it's beautiful again this year!! :)

Bye for now!!
